Initial Shop

Highly recommend their shoe collection

Japanese Jewelry company Garden of Eden, inspired by Medieval Art
Highly recommend visiting the Japanese inspired shop called Initial whilst in Hong Kong.  They have about 13 stores placed in key areas.  In addition to their own vintage-esque collection they also bring in less well-known brands worldwide.  The style is timeless and their branding is quite strong.  From their printed newsletters, cafe (available at some locales) and interior design it is a smart concept.  I can't not go in the store without purchasing a pair of shoes.  Another benefit, with the exception of the western brands they carry, the price points are reasonable and the quality of clothing is exceptional.  Enjoy.

Nothing bores me more than a woman and her "handbag."  Sorry ladies, I am absolutely over the "it" "expensive" "designer" handbag.  Desperately looking for an alternative and most recently thought that perhaps I should get a large dog and have it carry a nap sack on its back for my day to day belongings.  I will let you know if any other bright ideas develop.

I am quite inspired by the day-to-day style of the HK man.  Most men in HK carry bags (and not backpacks).  All unique and functional.  And the look works with their HK style.  I look forward to sharing more pictures with you.

Night out in Kowloon
